<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">I am running the London marathon in April 2012 on behalf on LOROS - a hospice based in Leicestershire.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">In 2010, my sister spent 15 days in the care of LOROS before she passed away at the age of 36.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The care she received during that time was incredible and my family will be forever indebted to the organisation.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">LOROS charges no fees for its services, but is only partly funded by public funds.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The organisation relies on charitable donations to fund around half of its operations.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The cost of care at LOROS is roughly £500 a day.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I would therefore like to raise enough money for LOROS to be able to give another family 15 days of care.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
