At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Another challenge was needed for this year, and so here I am! I volunteered myself to join the group from work who decided to take this on, so here goes.......

Yes this page is not as early as it could have been, but I managed to break my toe a few weeks ago so I have left it until I felt sure it would be ok to do the walks.

The little hills we will be walking up are Ben Nevis, Scafell, and Snowdon, to be completed in 24 hours.

I had people close to me who had suffered from this cruel disease and it is heartbreaking - not just for the person suffering but their families as well. Any chance to help in any small way is important.

So please please please get your hands in your Mary Poppins pockets and bags, have a rummage (not that sort of rummage men!) and donate what you can - you never know it might be you or yours who will benefit from any developments made.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Many many thanks in advance,Alison xxxx
