I've become a Wobbleberry and am taking part in the Wobbleberries challenge:

"A challenge for middle aged, wimpy riders to compete at a BE80 by autumn 2017, all to raise money for the wonderful Willberry Wonder Pony - inspired by Hannah Francis"

Hannah's Wilberry Wonder Pony charity aims to support vital research into osteosarcoma and to grant equine related wishes to seriously ill people and their families.   

It was my dream as a child to own my own horse and to ride cross country. My own horse, the long dreamed of piebald cob, came true with the purchase of Bee a decade ago.  As some of you will know this was the top of a very slippery slope!

I have ridden cross country in the past, as the photo of Mr P and me at the top of this page testifies, so it's not totally new but it's still terrifying! I had a couple of nasty falls around 4 years ago, have somewhat lost my bottle and have jumped very little since.  Cavalry King, my fabby Irish Cob, affectionately known as Cob, aka Super Cob, will be my partner in this endeavour. Cob's raring to go so we're halfway there.
