Approximately 80 per cent are women and girls. Up to 50% are minors. US Department of State Trafficking in Persons Report 2005 One of the main reasons that so many women and girls are trafficked is because they lack an education. Your donation will specifically go towards a scheme run by The Salvation Army in Tanzania that provides residential care and education for vulnerable girls. This will be done by running to and from campus each day – around 3 miles each way, including the challenging Widcombe Hill.
