Lincoln Santa Fun Run · 13 December 2009

EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Alison and Charlotte and their families attend St Nicholas Church in Lincoln. In the summer their vicar, David, sustained a serious head injury after falling from his bicycle.

The girls wanted to raise money for a charity chosen by David. He's chosen Headway, a national charity  which works to improve life after brain injury. Headway';s publications have helped David understand the nature of his hospitalisation, and the nature of his injury and recovery.

David hopes to return to active ministry next year.

We really hope you can sponsor us as we join hundred of others taking part in the Lincoln Santa Fun Run on Sunday December 13th. We'll be the ones dressed in red..with white beards!

Thank you for your donation.
