Moving Mountains is a charity which works mostly in Nepal and Kenya. They help street children and families in the poverty trap by providing them with education, better health and welfare and employment by building and promoting environmentally and economically sustainable projects.

In August 2010 I plan to go out to Nepal to work with Moving Mountains as a volunteer with the University of Bristol RAG team to live with these families and get involved in particular in the construction of a running water post and a first aid post. This will provide these extremely poor communities to experience clean running water and the access to basic first aid in their villages.

In order to raise my fundraising target I have a number of events planned. However my main event is to run the Paris Marathon on Sunday 11th April 2010.

I really would appreciate it if people can sponsor me as much as they can. Your donation goes straight to the charity and will fund the projects which I will be working on in Nepal.
