Miracles supports children and their families living in poverty, facing serious illness, when they have nowhere else to turn. Our support provides immediate, practical help: food packages, emergency travel, essential household items, vital home improvements and much more.

Story

I'm raising money for Miracles, a charity very close to my heart in the knowledge that they will perform many a miracle with the donations. Ironic really considering I'm going to need a personal miracle of my own to get through this...

Most of you know about my background but for those that don't, I got to the age of 25 weighing 443lbs and was told in no uncertain terms that I was 'at catastrophic risk of spontaneous fatal thrombosis' before the age of 30. Something had to be done and so I underwent a lifesaving gastric bypass which has seen me lose fourteen stone and get my life back. I owe a lot to very many people for providing me with my own set of miracles along the way, and as there are too many of you to thank individually I wanted to do something that would provide miracles for others.

If you sponsor me, please leave the name of a tune for my running playlist, you can help spur me on!
