Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So for four weeks this January I have given up all drinks except for plain old water (no morning coffees, glasses of wine with dinner or even orange juice with my breakfast) to raise awareness of the 650 million people without safe water and 2.3 billion without adequate sanitation. It really shows how easily we can access this and how much we take turning on the tap for fresh, clean water for granted.

I am fundraising for WaterAid's Deliver Life appeal which is focusing on maternal health and the importance of clean and safe water when it comes to pregancy, childbirth and keeping newborn babies free from infections caused by unclean environments. What's special about this appeal is that every £1 donated towards Deliver Life between 10 November 2015 and 10 February 2016 will be doubled by the UK Government which means that your donations will go twice as far.

With one week to go any donations would be really appreciated to help me get through the final few caffeine- and alcohol-free days and really will make a difference to the lives of some of the poorest communities in the world.
