Story
On June 5th, we are both squeezing into our new tri-suits, donning our wetsuits, throwing ourselves onto our bikes and hopefully running (and not crawling) across the finish line of our first ever triathlon at Blenheim Palace. All for a great cause, supporting Thinking of Oscar (and the inspirational couple behind it).
Thinking of Oscar is dedicated to the memory of Oscar Cole, who unexpectedly passed away in June 2014, aged only 16 months
Thinking of Oscar has a fantastic objective of improving the experiences of young children and their families whilst they are in hospital, an experience which is more than often scary and stressful. All the money we raise, alongside our 80+ teammates, through the triathlon will go towards funding a new children's procedures unit at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Thinking of Oscar is also going to be extending its reach and are planning to donate a vein finder to Great Ormond Street Hospital, a place close to Adam's heart. (Adam is currently managing part of the huge redevelopment project at GOSH)
Please help us to support such a well deserving cause!
