We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Hey everyone!

I'm going to walk 13 miles in the Shine night time marathon across London for Cancer Research UK & although this may be difficult, I'm determined to succeed!

At 14 years old, I was diagnosed with bone cancer in my left leg and the whole experience has changed my life forever. Although I have a metal knee in place of my real one, I've promised myself that I'm going to complete the walk and my boyfriend has promised he'll carry me to the end if things get too hard :)

The effects of chemotherapy are long lasting - I now have a weak heart and am unsure whether I will ever become a mother. I dream of a day when all cancers can be treated in a less horrific way and ultimately when cancer will become an illness of the past.

I am doing this walk for myself, my father who sadly passed away as a result of cancer at the beginning of August, the children who were less lucky than myself, all of the teenage girls who still look beautiful without any hair and people all over the UK fighting every day.

Please donate money towards my walk & help kick cancer's arse :)
