Story

I've been riding the Fireflies for many years now, since 2010. But this year it will be a completely different ride for me. Last year I lost my Step Mum to Leukaemia - Linda Sharp.

She was a vibrant and beautiful individual and at 53 years she had so much more to give and to live. She was struck down with Leukaemia and in less than 12 months she was gone.

Linda knew I loved riding my bike and she knew how much the Fireflies meant to me. This year my aim will be to help the newer riders on the Tour - as this is what Linda would have done. She was always thinking and caring for others, always so giving.

I can't write much more....too much hurt and love. But please donate. Leukaemia is an absolute fucker and with more money into research and care we CAN beat it.

The Fireflies Tour is a ride from Geneva to Cannes - we cycle over 1,000kms in less than 8 days and we go up and over the largest mountain passes in Europe. It is a brutal ride. There are no short cuts, no cars for support. Just you, the road, the weather and the mountains.

Please support me and donate.
