On Saturday 9th july me and a load of my dear friends are dusting off our trainers and taking part in the pretty muddy race.

As many people know the last 18 months for me has been hard! On 6th december 2014 exactly two weeks before i was due to get married my dad was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer which had spread throughout his body leaving him with just weeks to live. At a time when i should of been celebrating me and my family were left heartbroken. Luckily my dad got to see me get married and even walked (well ish he was pushed in a wheelchair) down the isle. 6 days after i got married my dad passed away. And on top of everything else i found out i was pregnant with xavi a few days before...telling my dad this was the last convo i ever had with him.

This evil nasty silent disease took away my dad from me. Took away him watching his gradchildren grow up and being able to see my brother get married or even meet Xavi. So im running this for him and to all the other people who have been effected by this awful diease. 

My dads cancer was sadly far to advanced to even consider any medical intervention but pancreatic cancer action is on a mission to get this disease diagnosed earlier to give more people a change pf survival. Currently pancreatic cancer has the worst survial rate of any cancer......lets change this!
