Swimathon in Aid of Japanese Kids

Hi, my name is Alina and I am nine years old.
UnbelievabIe! 33 of my friends swam a total of 1050 minutes this morning. That equals 17.5 hours and reminds me of the £1050 I have raised so far.
I swam 85 minutes which is my personal record. Francesca, the youngest swimmer was just 3 years old and lots of my Thomas's friends brought their sibblings along which was awesome! 12 hours sounded like a lot of minutes but alltogether we had a lot of fun swimming, getting closer and closer to my aim.
My friends and I were swimming in aid of the 100,000 children which have been separated from their parents during the Japanese eartquake and tsunami.
Safe the children, my choosen chairty, will be setting up kid centres to care for those children until they are reunited with their or new families. I think it will be nice for them to have a place to come to until their schools and homes are being re-build.
