Who would have thought it?  The girl for whom the phrase "Warm up girls" at the start of a gym lesson meant a dash to the radiator, is running the London Marathon.

I have been running for almost 4 years now and have done a few half marathons but this is in a completely different league to anything I have done before.  I am well and truly into the training programme as I write this and have just done a "20 miler".

I am running in aid of BackCare, a charity which campaigns on behalf of all back pain sufferers ( 80% of the population at some stage in their life) and supports research into new treatments for back problems.

Any donation you might be able to give would be gratefully received

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
