Cancer research is so important to my family.Cancer became a part of our family 18months ago. My mother in law fell ill 2 months before our wedding and we found out it was ovarian cancer. For 18 months she fought hard but sadly lost her fight 2weeks before Christmas. During the 18 months we also found out that my nan had breast cancer. She is currently taking medication and it is under control. If things couldn't get any worse I have recently found out that my dad has lung cancer. The nurses and doctors have just been fantastic which has helped dad cope better. Without the support from Macmillan we wouldn't have coped. Please please give to support the great work that is being done and help with future research so that one day we can beat cancer. It's not until that it affects someone you love that you realise how much we need a cure for this horrible disease.
