At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

My Mum was diagnosed when she was 63yrs old with early onset Alzheimers. She is only 66 now! Unfortunately she has an agressive form which has rapidly taken her away from my two brothers and I. she was anawesome woman who loved us and cared for us. she was my mum and my best friend. Although she is not gone physically her mind has gone and she does not know us anymore. Heartbroken is somewhere near how I feel but if I can help by raising awareness and some money I can feel as though I have done something to help her!
