We work with some of the world's most vulnerable communities in India and Bangladesh, to detect, treat and provide holistic, person-centred support for people affected by leprosy and LF. With your help, we can provide even more people affected with life-changing services.

Story

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

Again in a moment of New Year madness I signed up to the Lepra Madagascar Bike challenge - this involves cycling 473 km across Madagascar to raise funds for Lepra Health in Action, a medical development charity who work to restore health, hope and dignity to people affected by leprosy and other diseases of poverty.   As well as raising funds for the charity there is also the chance during the trip to work at a Leprosy clinic for the day as well as a clinic for polio and general health care.

I choose Lepra as they are a small charity working in 9 countries - there are still 300,000 people directly affected by this disease every year.

I know that we are all asked for sponsorship requests for worthwhile causes so any donation, however small, will be much appreciated - thank you!.

Alison!
