As you probably know I am lucky enough to work at Martin House and really do think it is a very special place. I also know it's a place which really does rely on charitable donations, and spends them carefully and wisely.

I've run the Great North Run before, each time for a charity close to my heart. But this is the first time I've run it since starting to work at Martin House. Working at Martin House has played a big part in my weight gain over the last year, so I'm expecting this one to be the hardest so far!

Martin House Hospice care for Children and Young People with progressive life limiting illnesses, and provide support to their families.
