Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Its over a year since my escape from the Malaysian jungle. The money I raised in that challenge paid for a purpose-built tricycle for a toddler with severe disabilities, enabling him to whizz around his garden like his big brother.

Children with disabilities face daily challenges just to do the routine things we take for granted. My decision to take part in this event will no doubt challenge me in many ways.

Cycling, climbing, kayaking and camping in The Grand Canyon is sure to be a big test for someone who hates heights and rarely ventures out on 2 wheels.

I have less than 12 months to build up my fitness levels and raise over £3000. Any support you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Watch this space for regular updates on my progress!!!

I have somehow managed to talk Diane into joining me again, despite all the pain I put her through last year.
