<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I <em></em>am a Trustee of the Board for Pegasus Theatre, Oxford - a fantastic, dynamic theatre providing top quality, professional theatre and theatre training to children and young people in Oxfordshire.&nbsp; Pegasus is an amazing place - and has been for the last 50 years.&nbsp; It runs workshops for children and young people in every aspect of theatre and theatre making; it runs an international theatre festival for young people from around the world (last year bringing a group of young people from Gaza), it supports new and emerging professional theatre companies with a unique mentoring scheme, and it is a venue which programmes top quality, innovative, professional theatre for the people of Oxford.&nbsp;&nbsp; It keeps its prices as low as possible to ensure that all its work is accessible to everyone, and it takes theatre to communities and brings them to the theatre.</p> <p>Like all the arts, Pegasus is struggling with reduced funding and cuts to their grants.&nbsp; So I - with 50 others, are doing the Blenheim Triathlon (in celebration of Pegasus's 50th birthday) - to raise money.</p> <p>Even if you don't live in Oxford - a donation to Pegasus, is a donation to support accessible, top quality theatre for all, it's a donation in support of giving all children and young people an understanding of the power of stories and creativity and it's a donation in support of keeping arts in the community alive in the UK.&nbsp;</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
