So much money is spent sending cards at times such as Christmas only for them to end up in the bin. For many years I have intended to stop this tradition and give the money to others but have never really found a charity that has moved me enough to act. Our Celebration is a charity that helps support those who are recovering from mental illness. If you visit their website, via the link in my e-mail, you will see how even the smallest contribution can have a huge impact.

The reason I have chosen this charity is because of personal involvement with people suffering from mental illness and the impact it has both on them and their families. I have also seen how Our Celebration uses the money donated. You only have to read the stories on the website.

I have donated £100 instead of sending cards this year. It would be fantastic if, instead of sending me a card you could donate to Our Celebration and change the life of someone. I would like to match my own contribution so please be generous.
