I am a Speech and Language Therapist and have worked in the NHS for over 31 years with children with speech, language and communication problems. I am taking a career break in order to complete this walk which will take me 11 weeks at 100 miles a week.I thought that it would be an ideal opportunity to raise awareness of the impact of communication difficulties on children and their families and support  this excellent local charity.
