On 7th July, along with collegues, I shall be cycling a hilly 80 miles from Pateley Bridge to Scarborough in order to raise money for Operation Smile. In case this is a charity that you are not familiar with 'Operation Smile is an international medical charity that has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lip, cleft palate or other facial deformities. It is one of the oldest and largest volunteer-based organisations dedicated to improving the health and livers of children worldwide through access to surgical care.'
