Ruth and I are taking part in the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home Himalayan Hospice Challenge. This challenge not only involves trekking through the Himalayan mountains but we will also embark on a 3 day project in Delhi at a local cancer centre. By taking part in this challenge Ruth and I will be raising vital funds for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home, supporting patients and their families.
The Iain Rennie Hospice at Home (IRHH) is a registered charity offering patients with life-limiting illnesses the choice to be cared for at home. In order for this to happen IRHH need to raise £4.8million a year and with only 9% of this coming from the government you can see just how important events such as the India Trek are to keep the service going.
