BUPA Great North Run 2010 · 19 September 2010 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

This year, Chris and Alison are undertaking two challenges to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, in memory of Alice Hedley (Alison's Grandma) and Evelyn Smart (Chris's Great Aunt).

First off, in June / July, we are walking Hadrian's Way - 84 miles over 7 days.

Then in September, the Great North Run - 13.1 miles in 1 day (and ideally in under 2 hours 30 minutes!)

If you feel that you would like to support the Alzheimer's Society in sponsoring us, all donations are greatly appreciated!  (Our feet will be very grateful that their efforts have been in aid of a good cause!)

Thank you!

Alison & Chris xx
