Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are not going to lie - the thought of walking over 20 ft of wooden embers  at 1,236 degrees is slightly scary! However more frightening is to imagine what it would be like to not be able to walk, talk or feed yourself and at a young age having to live in an old folk's home because there is nowhere else for you to go.

We are supporting Sue Ryder and its appeal to extend the neurological care centre, Dee View Court which provides 24/7 care to local people living with life-limiting neurological problems. The centre's waiting list is over double its capacity and desperately need to expand so we need to raise money to help them complete the project.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
