STOCKPORT HATTERS HALF MARATHON · 4 September 2016

We support children & young people with Special Educational Needs and those experiencing difficult life circumstances and their families/carers. We recognise the many physical and mental health benefits of exercise and strive to increase access to exercise, in particular outdoor activities.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am fighting in a white-collar boxing event on Saturday 25th March, 2017 at Stockport County FC grounds. Although I'm fighting as part of my own story, I want to help others on their own journey and so I'm also trying to raise money for a very good cause.

I am raising funds for The Thomas Theyer Foundation ( http://thomastheyerfoundation.org.uk/ )

The Thomas Theyer Foundation aim to:

  • Support children and young people with additional needs, their families and carers.
  • Provide access to outdoor activities for children and young people with additional needs, also children living with difficult life circumstances, such as young carers or those who have lost a parent or sibling.
  • Provide respite accommodation.

There are at currently at least 10 fights lined up for the night, each fighter is raising money for their own chosen charity and the tickets sold will also go towards a number of charities chosen by the organisers. Tickets cost £20 for standard seats and for VIP tables of 10 with a 3-course meal, complimentary drinks and table service £50 per person. Please message me on Facebook for tickets
