We’re Age UK and we’re here to make sure every older person feels included and valued. Whether it’s providing free information and advice, tackling loneliness and isolation or campaigning for older people’s rights – we’ll be there. Your support makes it possible.

Story

I'm running the Beachy Head marathon for Age UK as a memorable way of spending my birthday this year!

It's my first and one of the hilliest marathons in the country: 1,500 metres of ascent and descent, so it's going to be an interesting challenge.  The event has a brilliant sting in its tail - at around 18 miles, when many marathoners traditionally hit 'the wall' - is when runners have to go up and down the entire length of the Seven Sisters!

It would be great if I could raise some money in support of Age UK along the way. Please donate whatever you can - it all helps.

Thanks and wish me luck!

Alistair

P.S - there's info about the race and my training on my blog -questforspeed.wordpress.com
