<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>As some of you will know our dear friend Josh Carrick lost his brutal battle against testicular cancer on the 3rd October this year. The sadness felt by those who he left behind is terrible, but one of the positives to come out is that his friends and family have been brought together to raise money on his behalf. In his memory we will be RUNNING!! :-/:-/:-/ 5k to help raise money for the Karen Trust.</p> <p>For those who do not know Josh, he battled his cancer with grace dignity and determination for a year. He was just 22 when he was diagnosed and was a pillar of inspiration throughout his illness to all those he met. The situation surrounding his death was tragic. After being told he was in remmission in mid Setpember the cancer came back far more aggrssively than we knew possible and took his life within weeks. We are so proud of him for battling through such awful circumstances with a smile on his face and with continued protection and support for his freinds and family. It will be such great testiment to him to raise as much money for the Karen Ttust - dont count the years count the memories, an organisation whos mission is to open metreat homes to give some joy and peace to terminally ill patients and their families.&nbsp;</p> <p>Any donation, no matter how small will be more than greatfully recieved, and will be put towards giving these brave people, like Josh, the opportunity for some joy in their last moments.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
