On the 25th April 2010 (which everyone should no anyway as it's my birthday!!!) I will be running the London Marathon. I will be running the event for The Meningitis Trust which is a great fundraising charity and they matter a lot to me.
The race is a whopping 26 miles and 385 yards to be precise, so I've started to set my playlist up already on my I-pod to have all the motivational classics to get me through it, such as the Rocky Soundtrack, Fleetwood Macs F1 song and Billy Ocean (before anyone says anything Mr Oceans a timeless classic) However please feel free to make a song recommendation when you hopefully sponsor me!
The Meningitis Trust support everyone in the UK who is facing the challenge of life after meningitis through their professional services. They help people practically, emotionally and financially. They educate communities about the symptoms of meningitis, saving lives through early detection.
