<p>Hello.</p>
<p>Those of you that know me, know that I enjoy the odd run or two. However, in September I will be taking on my biggest challenge yet, running 153 miles non-stop in less than 36hrs from Athens to Sparta in what is regarded as one of the worlds Hardest Single Stage Ultramarathons</p>
<p><strong>"The Spartathlon"</strong></p>
<p>The race follows the original route that the Athenian messenger<strong> Pheidippides </strong>took 2,500 years ago during the Persian invasion of Greece when seeking help from the Spartans<strong><br /></strong></p>

<p>I will be running this in support of 12 year old Dana Johnston who suffers from Spastic Cerebral Palsy.</p>
<p>We're hoping to raise a total of<strong> £60,000</strong></p>
<p>Fundraising is taking place to pay for life-changing treatment which will hopefully allow her her to walk independently for the first time in her life.</p>
