DVLCC supports children under 5 with cerebral palsy and other motor learning impairments through a life-changing, intensive early intervention service. With pioneering therapies to unlock their full potential, our children and their families take the first step toward a brighter future.

Story

£7,500 is enough money to put one child with Cerebral Palsy through a year of conducive education at the Dame Vera Lynn Trust School for Parents in Five Oaks, near Billingshurst.

Having started running in 2010, I decided the time was right to tackle my first marathon, and such a huge Sussex event should raise money for a Sussex-based charity.

The Dame Vera Lynn Trust does not attract the exposure of other, larger charities, but their work is just as vital. And after attending one of the Trust's fundraising events last summer, it touches peoples lives, not only in the Horsham and Sussex area but across the entire South East.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
