For reasons at least partially beyond my control, I am running the 2010 London Marathon.

 

Unfortunately, the game of mini golf you see in my profile picture is the most exercise I've done in around 7 years.  This could be disastrous.

 

I will be running in aid of a wonderful community centre in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey called Time and Talents, who were founded in 1887 by a group of women who wanted to improve the living conditions of many people in the dock areas of South London. They focus a lot of their work on the very young, and older people, as well as people with learning difficulties.

 

One of the great things about the marathon is that brilliant charities like Time and Talents are able to attract funding that they wouldn't normally get, and I hope you will all help me raise as much money to support their work as possible.

 

I will judge you - JUDGE YOU - if you don't chip in.
