<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p>
<p>This is my first attempt at a half marathon for what I think is a very worthy cause. The course is 22.09 km, just 1 km over a half marathon- that is 10m for every serviceman wounded or killed in Afganistan since 2001 (correct as Dec 2011). Some of you will know that my baby brother is a serving soldier (of 25years) and has completed 2 difficult tours to Afganistan.I could do this for him and his colleagues, because people tell me it will be 'fun??!! or becasue it would be good for me. I aim to raise at least £100 but the more I raise the less likely I am to pull out! Thanks for giving - and I hope you like the photo of me and my baby bro (taken in 1971!)</p>
