Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of you will remember my wife, Becci, suffering a major stroke in November 2009, the day after her 39th birthday. Amazingly, her recovery was fast and almost 100%. This was thanks in no small measure to the stroke ward at Basingstoke Hospital.

Thanks to ongoing research, she was given a 'thrombolysis' injection that dispersed the errant blood clot in her brain within a few hours of the stroke.

I decided to (attempt to !) trek to Everest as it is my 40th later this year, and I hope to raise money for The Stroke Association at the same time. I will be ably accompanied by Steve Carter.

Those of you that know me well, can't fail to be impressed that I have worked out how use a computer ! I'll update this with more info when I work out how to !
