Thanks for coming to my justgiving page.  On 11th July I am going to take part in the Great London Run in aid of FSID. 

 It's a charity really close to my heart as on December 17th 2009 my beautiful son Sidney died in his sleep aged 13 months.  It's been incredibly hard coming to terms with this tragedy but FSID have really helped, particularly in the early stages when I felt that I had no-one to share my feelings with who was not directly involved already.  It was so helpful to be able to pick up the phone and talk to someone who has experienced a similar event in their lives. 

 Myself, Ben and Betsy will get through this with the help of our amazing family and friends but a friendly voice at the end of the phone is an added bonus.

The thought of running 10k makes me feel quite sick as I cannot run for two minutes at the moment without wanting to throw up! However knowing that I am going to do this to raise money for a great charity who are researching infant death and helping other people in my situation will keep me going.  I might not finish until Monday 12th but I will finish!
