Walk for Parkinson's - Welford Park · 17 April 2016 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Most of you already know that I have Young Onset Parkinson's. You may even have read some of my posts on https://bloggingwithparkinsons.wordpress.com/

So it shouldn't be a surprise that we're walking for Parkinson's UK.

There is something about walking in the great outdoors - the feeling of space, the activity itself, the fresh air - that frees up my dopamine-deficient brain, and things just start working more like they should do. So I shall enjoy it, even if it rains torrents, even if I have to cajole the children up the hills (although the rain is easier to deal with).

Help me raise some money for Parkinson's UK by sponsoring us.
