Spring has sprung and the serious training has begun.

In just over 3months time I’m undertaking my most significant physical challenge to date.

I’m of a fantastic team who are cycling the Coast to Castles route from Edinburgh to Newcastle.. 200 miles in 3 days to raise money for a vital new Mammography machine at Nottingham Breast institute.

Needlless to say the physical challenge is both exciting and daunting in equal measure but I’m determined to succeed for a wonderful cause which is very close to my heart ❤️.

On a personal level the ongoing  treatment my sister is receiving at Nottingham is phenomenal. The doctors, nurses and Macmillan support staff are second to none.

Sadly I think I’m right in saying that everyone on this challenge has been touched my cancer in some way.
