I have a place in the 2010 Virgin London Marathon so let me tell you why I am doing it.......I am running/jogging ;-) for my Granny (Erla Simmons) who sadly died of ovarian cancer in 2002.  She spent her final days at St.Julia's Hospice in Hayle, Cornwall, part of 'Cornwall Hospice Care'. Cornwall Hospice Care have just 24 beds, for people living with a life limiting illness, they rely on donations from the general public in order to reach their annual £5.3 million running costs, it costs £9.50 per minute to run Cornwall Hospice Care, 85p in every £1 donated goes direct to patient care!!
