Story

In March this year I will be joining a small team from The Prince of Wales Hospice on a 4 day trek in the Sahara desert followed by 2 days spent at a hospice in Marakesh where we will undertake a building project aimed at improving the patient environment.

Whilst the challenge itself will no doubt be a fantastic [albeit gruelling] experience, the ultimate aim is to raise much needed funds for The Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract, which provideds specialiast palliative care for patients within Eastern Wakefield [and beyond] living with life limiting illness and also provides support for their families.

Prior to the trek I need to raise a minimum sponsorshop of £1600 although I have set myself a target of £2000, and over the next few months have a number of fundraising events planned to help me achieve this.

If you would like to help me achieve my target and thus support the hospice you could do so by making a small donation. Any donation will be very much appreciated - every bit helps!
