Cutting my hair for Little Princess Trust · 8 January 2013

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As a lot of you may know I have been considering cutting my long (17" inches to be exact!) hair for a while now, but never thought I had the confidence to pull off the look. By chance, I stumbled upon the Little Princess Trust website, and knew that I had to donate my hair to help make real human hair wigs for children suffering hair loss to cancer.

My hair will be made into a wig, however one wig costs £350 for the chairty to make so that they can keep giving them to children for free. So rather than just donating my hair, I want to help raise money too!

I know a lot of my friends are students and/or skint right now, but anything you could give would be such a huge help!

Thank you for taking the time to read this! :)
