Abseil for Francis House at Old Trafford, MUFC · 28 March 2010

Francis House supports more than 435 families of children, teenagers and young adults with life-shortening or life-threatening conditions. We need over £5.8 million in charitable donations each year to continue to provide our services. Thank you for your support.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In a moment of madness, I have agreed to abseil 140 feet down the North Stand at Old Trafford (Theatre of Dreams!) on Sunday 28 March 2010 to raise money for Francis House.

You are very welcome to come and watch (or join in?!) and photographic proof will be provided after the event!

Please help me raise as much as possible for Francis House.

For those of you who haven’t heard about Francis House, it is the chosen charity which the Manchester Marine Insurance Association has supported for many years.

They provide a home from home where families can receive professional care, support and friendship.

It is open to all families who have children under 16 years of age diagnosed as having a life threatening or life limiting condition and care is given free of charge and regardless of faith or cultural background.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
