Story

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 27 Feb 2011 Tom and I will run the Rome-Ostia Half Marathon. This will be the furthest I have EVER run and I am totally excited and just a little scared at the prospect.

I am raising money for Leukaemia and Lymphona Research in the hope that 1 day they will indeed find a 100% cure for this terrible disease that struck Leti Pugsley, the beautiful daughter of our dear friends Cat and Martin. In October 2009 Leti was diagnosed aged 4 with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and since then has undergone horrific treatment to rid her frail body of the disease. To say that this has been hugely traumatic for Leti, Max and their parents Cat and Martin would be a cruel understatement. Thankfully Leti's prospects are now good - she has an 85% chance of surviving - but this has not deterred her family in their relentless efforts to raise money to combat this awful illness and offer a brighter future for families who have to face childhood cancer. You can read more about Leti's story by clicking on the link below.

Please dig deep and give generously to help fund research and find the cure for this sickening disease..

Tom will be raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and in honour of his mother Noel who was diagnosed with MS some 25 years ago and has been battling this terrible illness with calm and dignity ever since. Please help Tom and her by clicking below:
