Story

 Sahara Trek

We're going on a desert trek,

to a far and distant land,

with a group of willing hikers,

to walk across the sand.

We're flying into Marrakesh

and on to Ouarzazate,

the final drive to M'hamid

to where the road ends at.

We'll have a guide and a camel train,

to help us on our way,

we'll pitch our tents and enjoy the stars,

they're really bright they say.

We have an aim to reach a point,

where Eric is in sight,

he's something of a 'famous' dune

at quite a serious height.

The purpose of this amazing trip,

is easy to explain,

it's all for Katharine House Hospice,

and raising funds is our aim,

A 'THANK YOU' if you've already helped

and for reading my trekking ditty,

If you've yet to donate, I'd be really pleased

if you'd add to my fundraising kitty !!!

This is what your donations will provide for the hospice:

£500 is 6 weeks of visits for a Day Therapy patient,

£100 provides patient comfort in their own home,

£50 gives a delicious and nutritious meal to 10 patients,

Just £12.50 would cover an hour of nursing care!

I thank you in anticipation of your great support!
