We are running the Great Scottish Half Marathon in honor and memory of our dear friend Amanda who lost her fight to Scleroderma on 29th August 2010 at the age of 34, leaving a gap in all our lives but adding a bright and shining star to the heavens above! Though we may never fill her running shoes we hope to raise money and awareness for this charity by doing something she loved and in doing so, we can hope that other people will be helped by our efforts and spared the suffering our Amanda had to endure.
