Story

Hello kind souls,

I will be doing something crazy and jumping out of a plane (obviously with a parachute and with the intention of pulling a string), all in the name of the Urban Scholars Programme being run by Brunel University. Details of what the programme is all about is mentioned below, so please could you guys dig deep into your hearts (and your wallets) and give generously to this worthwhile cause.

Also note that PwC will be matching any contributions made by yourselves (subject to a cap of £250), so in effect your donating double the amount of money, and to top it all off you can claim gift relief on your donation, meaning EVEN more money will be donated and this time it's coming from HMRC. You can't go wrong people, you just can't.

The Urban Scholars Programme is a University based intervention programme for over 200 12 to 14 year old students from inner-city schools. The project, based at Brunel University, is designed to provide potentially gifted and talented students from urban areas with the necessary academic skills, motivation and self-esteem to have high aspirations and greater achievement. The aim is to help them acquire high grades in their public examinations so that they can obtain places in universities and subsequently enter professions that members of their families may not have previously considered. This project seeks to find submerged talent in the inner cities, which is often masked by social disadvantage.

Thanks in advance for your generosity you sweet, beautiful people.
