Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. We work in over 70 countries - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We are independent, neutral and impartial. We provide medical care where it's needed most.

Story

10 years ago after tearing my knee, I was told I would never play sport again. I think I've already made a mockery of that but to celebrate this anniversary I will take on my greatest challenge yet. The Spartan Trifecta.

3 races in one summer:

  • Sprint (3+ miles/25+ obstacles)
  • Super (8+ miles/30+ obstacles)
  • Beast (13+ miles/35+ obstacles)

In terms of difficulty, the Super is roughly on par with Tough Mudder with the Beast expected to be easily the hardest race I have completed so far. I will be pushed to be absolute limit on a off road half-marathon with brutal obstacles thrown in.

All this is for Doctors without Borders. It is the world's leading emergency medical humanitarian aid organisation. They help people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

Their work is simply incredible and any donations would truly make a difference.
