Story

Amarjit Singh Gill was born July 21, 1947 in Nakuru, Kenya. He spent some time in India as a child and then moved to England in the late 60s. He began working in data processing/IT, and worked for Glaxo for 30 years before he retired.

He met his soulmate, Manjit, and they married in 1973. They had an adventure filled life together, traveling all over the world, enjoying the sites, the beaches and the slopes. They were each other's best friends and soul mates. No matter how busy their lives may have been, how different they were, or where they were, they always had a connection that brought them together.

Along the way, he made friends that he kept for over 40 years. He would do anything for his friends who always had a special place in his heart.

He will always be remembered as a man who loved to have fun and enjoy life. He loved all sports, and played hockey and golf for many years.

He touched the lives of so many people and was the life of so many parties. Anyone who met him remembered him for his vitality and spirit. He had a place in his heart for those he loved that was very deep and very giving. He was a very dear uncle, brother in law, and son in law, who will be greatly missed. He loved his nieces and nephews deeply. He was a father and grandfather to me and my family and his love was always felt.

But most, he will be remembered as a man with a good heart, who believed life should be lived for today and without any pretense, and with no holds barred. He loved his wife, his life and those around him sincerely and will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Please join me in celebrating his life with a donation in his memory.
