I just like riding my bike locally, but my bike is very old and battered.  My friend got a new bike for her birthday but asked if I would go riding with her because she hadn't ridden a bike for quite a while and was a bit apprehensive.  On that first ride we just kept going and ended up doing about 26 miles!!!!  Then I saw this charity event and thought what a good idea to raise some money for these charities.  Cancer touches all of us, I want to help in some way, and this is my way.

So, it was Christmas morning and yes he did come! There stood a brand new Womens Hybrid Bike!  It's amazing - so light and it's even got front suspension!
