Alzheimer's Society - London 2 Brighton Challenge 2012 · 12 May 2012 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thank you so much for coming to visit my fundraising page.

I'm training really hard at the gym for a 100k walk to Brighton that will take place in May in loving memory of my Grandma. She was the most incredible and generous person you could ever meet. She was a huge part of my family and a great support to my mum who raised us on her own. I think the work that Alzheimer's society do is incredible they give families precious and memorable time with their loved ones. It's priceless.

Dementia is one of the main causes of disability in later life, ahead of cancer, cardiovascular disease and stroke.

One in three people over 65 will die with dementia.

Over 750,000 people have dementia in the UK, this figure will rise to over 1 million by 2025.

Please donate what ever you can this is for a great cause.
